Trachealth Technologies is an Indian medical technologies company taking a leap by building medical diagnostic devices which are not only non-invasive but also non-contact.
Dr. Anish Bekal and Sushma KS started this company as founding directors in March 2021 and presently incubated at CPDMED, IISc Bangalore. Derbi foundation has invested into the company as part of the SISFS scheme of govt of India.

About the company

Vision:
We are geared up to democratise health care so that medical professionals can help diagnose and remote monitor maximum number of patients and their outreach can increase in villages.

Mission:
We @Trachealth Technologies are developing a smart, IOMT device, which detects physiological parameters such as heart and lung sounds, blood pressure and body temperature without any physical contact.

Products and services

We propose to build a contactless modality which uses an array of sensitive microphones for heart sounds measurement and laser-based system directed towards the carotid artery and other specific arteries/veins to synchronise with heart sounds and measure blood pressure. Standard IR temperature sensor will be built into the product.

After 12 years of industrial experience in translating physics concepts into products Dr. Anish Bekal has embarked on an entrepreneurial journey to develop technologies for healthcare sector. He holds the role of CEO of Trachealth Technologies. Dr. Anish Bekal earned his bachelor’s degree from Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal in 2004, and Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras in 2014 in the area of Mode-locked fiber lasers.
He has worked with the Indian Space Research Organization for 3.5 years as a scientist working on the testing of Phased Array antennas and other communication systems for satellite applications. Later, he worked in GE global research center from 2014 to 2017, working on developing new technologies in optical sensors for trace gas measurements in high-temperature applications.
From 2017 to 2021 he worked as a technical specialist developing technologies for industrial applications in optical and microwave domains.
He as 8 patents and 17 journal and conference papers to his credit.

 Sushma KS has an industrial experience of 2.5 years in various start-ups engaged in HR domain. She was the head of HR operations at Global Infocloud in Pune. She earned her MBA degree from Vishweshwariah Technical university in 2015. She is holds the role of director of the company.
